An insect development inhibitor type insecticide for use as part of a termite interception and baiting system, an integrated system for the management of subterranean termite infestations (except Mastotermes darwiniensis). GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Please read Easy Termite Bait User Manual before using.

Pod is sealed to either above ground termite activity or sealed to termite active in-ground timber monitor stations. In-ground timber monitor stations are embedded in the soil around the property requiring protection, at intervals of approximately 3 to 5 metres. In-ground timber monitor stations placement is focused in areas where termites are most likely to be found foraging. These in-ground timber monitor stations are inspected on a regular basis at 4-to-12-week intervals until termites are detected. Once detected, pod is sealed to the termite activity as per User Manual. Pod should be inspected every 2 to 8 weeks (and once empty or almost empty more Easy Termite Bait added to the original pod) with the more frequent inspections occurring during the initial stages of termite feeding.

 

TERMITE MANAGEMENT

Regular (annual or more often in high-risk properties) Termite Property Inspections to Australian Standards should be performed by a qualified and licensed Pest Technician and the recommendations from the associated report commissioned. Examples of these recommendations could include; removal of any stored or waste timber in subfloor, increasing ventilation, removing excess dampness in subfloor, repairing any water or waste water leaks.

For use in Integrated Termite Management Programs in and around residential and commercial properties, where termite presence can be detected e.g., fences, trees and landscape structures in all areas of Australia except Tasmania.	Subterranean Termites (except Mastotermes darwiniensis)	Add 200ml of clean non- chlorinated water to contents of pod and shake vigorously for 3 minutes.	Do not use water that has been chlorinated or contaminated in any way. Mix until uniform consistency is achieved by shaking pod for up to 3 minutes. Add fresh bait to pod after it is completely (or almost) consumed by mixing second pod and transferring into original pod. Continue process of adding additional pods until no more Easy Termite Bait has been eaten or no more signs of Termites exist for one month.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT

Dangerous to aquatic arthropods. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the bait matrix. DO NOT place bait matrix in any area where, because of movement of water, it could be washed into a body of water containing aquatic life, such as ponds or streams.

 

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Dispose of rinsing’s in a disposal pit specifically set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Puncture and bury empty containers and dispose of unused bait in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers or unused bait below 500mm in a disposal pit. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.

 

SPILLS

Sweep up bait matrix and wrap in paper. Dispose of as above. Prevent entry of spilled matter into drains or waterways.
